Alumni and students approaching their graduation date recently gathered in the Full Sail Live venue for the first on-campus career fair of 2024. The lively event was coordinated by the Career Development department, and featured company recruiters, networking opportunities, informational sessions, and more.

Students nearing graduation and alumni could pitch themselves, apply for open positions, and speak face-to-face with employers. Dozens of booths featuring representatives from companies like Insomniac Events, Hard Rock Live, and Mass Virtual were set up so students could connect with organizations they were interested in. Even if they weren’t immediately interested in a role, students and alumni from many different degree programs were also able learn more about what the job field looks like in a wide variety of industries. The venue was bustling with students and alumni taking the initiative to introduce themselves and broaden their career network, as they were ready to take the next step in their professional journeys.

Additionally, there were also opportunities for current students at any point in their degree program to participate in a variety of other career-oriented events to ready them for the work force, including free headshots, career workshops, employer panels, and more. Students were able to sit in on lessons from employers like Universal, Walt Disney World, and Blue Wave to learn about several key components within the job industry, such as the art of the elevator pitch and the importance of professionalism.
